Kathy Riemer has been employed with WITC since January 2000 as the College Health Nurse on the WITC/UW-BC Rice Lake campus. She received credits toward her Master's degree during the summer of 2001 through WITC's "Facilitating the Future." Kathy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Viterbo College in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Service and Development from Metropolitan State University in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She also holds a Public Health Nurse certification from Wisconsin and an RN certification from Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing in Rochester, Minnesota. Kathy was a Registered Nurse in hospital urology, intensive care, cardiac care, and general medicine, a clinic nurse in internal medicine, a staff nurse in a nursing home, Public Health Nurse for Barron County, and part-time office manager of a psychotherapy office. She is also an Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Abuse (ATODA) Prevention Facilitator and a Wellness Coach-CMC (Certified Mindful Coach).
