Marla Prytz MS, RD, CD
Healthy Lifestyle Coach |
Marla Prytz is a Registered Dietitian and is currently working for Barron County Health and Human Services in the WIC (Women, Infant, and Children) Program and as a Public Health Nutritionist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from UW-Stevens Point and her Masters of Science degree in Food Science and Nutrition from UW-Stout. Other professional experiences include working and consulting in long-term care, teaching the Dietary Manager Course, Food Safety and Sanitation and Nutrition in Childcare classes for WITC and leading the Barron County Nutrition Coalition. Marla is a member of the American Dietetics Association (ADA) and the Wisconsin Dietetics Association (WDA) which keeps her abreast of what is happening in the nutrition field. Seventy-five hours of continuing education is required every 5 years to maintain her registered and certified dietitian status which also helps keep her current with what is happening in the nutrition field, which seems to change quite frequently. Nutrition and Physical Activity go hand in hand to maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle.
