Congratulations to US Bank and Toftness Chiropractic Clinic, winners of the 5th Annual Cumberland Community Bike or Walk to Work Day Challenge. Both businesses had 100% of employees participate in the event held on May 16th during National Bike to Work Week.

An honorable mention goes to the Cumberland School District with the largest number of participants at 46.  Other participating businesses included 3M, Cumberland MemorialHospital and Extended Care Unit, and Augustana Lutheran Church. 

This year's long distance awards go to Steve Schleppegrell of 3M, who biked 35 miles on his way to work, and Don Groth of the CumberlandSchool District, who walked 10.5 miles to work.  The Annual Bike or Walk to Work Day Challenge is sponsored by the Healthier Cumberland Coalition.
